Five finds for a life in motion
Happy Friday! It was a beautiful, bustling week filled with work travel, ice cream, and lots of time in my car. Here are my five for the week:
The Highwomen Live at the Gorge - The Highwomen's 2019 debut album has been a favorite since it was released. This week, a friend reached out after reading Brandi Carlile's book (more on that here) to share that the group had just released a live recording from the Gorge. I've had it on repeat ever since. So good, enjoy!
Mary Janes - I wasn't sure the trend was for me, so I opted for an affordable pair. Turns out, I've worn them almost every day this week. Since it's not quite sandal season here in Maine, they've been the perfect transitional shoe, comfortable and easy to pair with everything from jeans to dresses.
A Year Round Sweater - I own a lot of sweaters, but this one may be my favorite. It's the perfect weight for the dead of winter and equally useful on a chilly summer evening. The length is just right, too (why does everything seem to be cropped these days?).
Oprah Interviews the Co-Founders of Claude - Does it feel like you can't go anywhere without hearing about AI? Given how often it comes up in my own work, it's a topic I find myself discussing a lot. Oprah opens with a sharp question from Claude itself to its founders, and discusses the ethical questions that have come with such rapidly evolving technology.
Mini Brush - I’ve been on the go a lot lately and sometimes struggle to feel pulled together for meetings and events. This small but mighty hairbrush has quickly become my favorite purse companion. Worth noting: it’s oddly cheaper to buy this set than the brush on its own.
